UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Consultant
Location: Cairo, Egypt
Job Type: Full time
Working days & hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (UK time).

Purpose of the Role

The UAT Consultant is responsible for planning, executing, and evidencing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to ensure that business requirements are fully met and solutions are ready for release.
This role provides hands on testing expertise, supports business testers, and ensures that all testing activities align with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

What You’ll Do
•    Plan and execute end to end UAT activities for change initiatives in line with agreed scope, timelines, and testing strategy.
•    Design and maintain UAT artefacts including test scenarios, test cases, and execution evidence.
•    Perform risk based and scenario based testing to validate business requirements and user journeys.
•    Define and validate UAT entry and exit criteria, raising risks or issues where required.
•    Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
•    Collaborate with business, delivery, and technology teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
•    Provide accurate updates on testing progress, risks, and defect status to the UAT Lead.
•    Act as a key point of contact for business testers, offering guidance on test execution and best practices.
•    Support business users to ensure consistent and high quality test execution.
•    Ensure all UAT activities meet governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
•    Contribute to post implementation reviews, reporting, and lessons learned.
•    Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and quality, including the use of data led or AI enabled testing approaches.
•    Ensure testing supports positive customer outcomes and fair treatment standards.

•    Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or Business Acceptance Testing within change or transformation environments.
•    Proven ability to design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and defect tracking.
•    Knowledge of risk based and scenario based testing methodologies.
•    Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, or similar for test and defect management.
•    Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and auditability.
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams (business, product, and technology).
•    Good understanding of regulated environments and the importance of compliance and governance.
•    Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills.
•    Structured, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
•    Awareness of insurance or healthcare systems (e.g., CRM, Swift) is advantageous but not essential.
