Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Twisting Fixer (Hospitality)
Full Time 3rd Shift 11PM-7AM
Summary: The Twisting Fixer, will conduct general maintenance as needed on Twisting machinery as well as assist in other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Your skills we value:
- Must know general maintenance & operating procedures on Twisting equipment.
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
- Requires all motor skills with ability to do heavy work.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be willing to take direction from more senior mechanics as well as management.
- Needs to have an above average mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules and overtime when needed.
- Must be willing and able to learn new maintenance skills.
- Must have adequate quality tools to complete the job.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work at height from ladders and mobile lift station such as scissor lifts and articulating boom lifts.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.
- Promptly report all safety malfunctions on equipmentMust comply with OSHA standards.
- Must be able to operate a lift truck.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
