The Turnover Coordinator supports the handover of completed projects from construction to operations by coordinating documentation, tracking deliverables, and supporting project closeout activities.
This role is based out of office in St.John's with a possibility of remote work.What You Will Be Working On
  • Assist in the development and assembly of system and subsystem turnover packages

  • Compile multi-discipline documentation, including inspection records, ITPs and sign-offs, test results and certifications and material traceability records

  • Verify completeness of turnover packages against project and client requirements

  • Identify gaps, missing documentation, and outstanding deficiencies

  • Extract and review data from the Procore Inspections Tool, including completed inspections and statuses

  • Ensure inspections are properly documented with required attachments and tagged to correct system/subsystem locations

  • Organize documentation within the Procore Documents Tool by System → Subsystem → Discipline

  • Maintain consistent naming conventions, version control, and document traceability

  • Support tracking of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) across systems and subsystems

  • Maintain logs of ITP completion status and discipline sign-offs

  • Coordinate with field and quality teams to drive closure of outstanding items

  • Assist the Quality Manager and Leads in developing action plans for turnover delays, incomplete ITPs and deficiency and NCR close-out

  • Track and follow up on action items, responsibilities, and deadlines

  • Provide regular progress updates and highlight risks to turnover milestones

  • Maintain turnover status trackers and dashboards (as required)

  • Provide regular updates on package completion status and ITP progress

What We Are Looking For
  • Diploma or Degree Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 3+ years of experience supporting turnover, commissioning, QA/QC, document control, or project closeout activities in a construction, industrial, or infrastructure environment.

  • Experience compiling and managing turnover packages, inspection records, ITPs, test reports, and quality documentation.

  • Proficiency with Procore, including the Inspections and Documents modules, is preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Familiarity with turnover, commissioning, and quality management processes, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material traceability, and NCR closeout.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with field, quality, and project teams.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, track action items, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Skills Required
