JOB SUMMARY:
The Tugger performs a range of duties related to the receiving, storing, movement, and order pulling of product and materials in a timely and accurate manner according to day-to-day schedule adherence of the site within Safety & Quality standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under the direction of the Warehouse/Logistics Manager/Lead, performs a wide range of duties related to the receiving, storing, movement, and order pulling of product and materials in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work is performed within a warehousing environment and in support of production operations using forklift and pallet-jack equipment.
- Performs shrink-wrap operations and assist in maintaining clean environment.
- Must be proficient in forklift operation (certification a must).
- Maintain high level of cleanliness and order through work areas according to 5s standards.
- Practice all Health and Safety procedures, policies and practices.
- Other duties may be assigned and not all duties listed might be assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High School Degree/GED is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1-3 years related operator experience is preferred.
SKILLS:
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency.
- Requires frequent lifting of 60 lbs. department to ensure finished goods meet specifications.
- Good Attendance and Accountability.
- Promotes a positive attitude towards Safety.
- Capacity to work independently as well as within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Availability to work overtime and off shifts when required.
- Ability to promote a professional work environment with a focus on respect and trust.
- Good Knowledge of Company Safety policies and procedures.
- Must have excellent follow-up skills in order to thoroughly complete assigned tasks.
