TT QA Tech III

Insure truck tire testing is scheduled, monitored, shipped, and reports are issued. Analyze Truck Tire sections as required for QA Surveillance Testing.

1. CTD Excellence, interface with local PI, local PE, Central QM.
2. Monitor QA surveillance test results.
3. Participate in 02I warranty return meetings.
4. Maintain calibration and working condition of equipment.
5. Interface with Corporate Tire Technology, and Engineering on test related issues.
6. Perform other duties as directed by the QA Manager.
7. Analyze new tire startup cut tire sections .
8. Analyze anomalous tire sections to determine root cause of scrap IV as requested.
9. Audit QA Warehouse holds including trailer lock out tags.
10. Lead customer satisfaction initiatives (tire sort) in local and external warehouse or customer location.
11. Perform the duties of QA Tire Cutter, QA Grader as a backup to these positions as requested.
12. Maintain storage and retention of all cut tire sections as per QMD requirements.
13. Data reporting and other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
14. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED 
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Associate's degree 

Environment:

• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. 
• New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends. 
• The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

The starting annual salary for this role is $64,613 a year.
