Join us as a Transaction Support Analyst
- Take on a new role and support the middle office for our Treasury function, covering term funding and capital raising, FX and interest rate risk management and liquidity portfolio management
- You’ll join a collaborative team, as you act as the liaison between front office and other support areas
- It's a chance to put your knowledge and experience of the finance industry to the test in this critical role
- Our team operates within a hybrid working model so you'll work from home some of the time, and coming into the office at least 2 days per week to collaborate closely with your colleagues
- This role is available for a period of 13 months
As a Transaction Support Analyst, you’ll be working on the trade validation of vanilla and exotic derivative products. You’ll also provide vital support to the trading activity of derivative transactions relating to secured funding, including the maintenance and development of the volatility buffer calculation.
Day-to-day, you’ll also be liaising with colleagues across other teams and functions to facilitate each new trade process and to encourage continuous improvement in your work.
Additionally, you’ll be:
- Monitoring workflow queues to ensure day one accuracy
- Calculating a daily volatility buffer and liaising with the collateral management team to independently verify the margin calls
- Maintaining the integrity of all underlying assets, trade bookings, structure maintenance and appropriate reconciliations
- Ensuring the accuracy of all components of new and existing transactions across internal systems
- Managing all medium term notes across various programmes through their life cycle
- Controlling the event management process, including rate resets, coupons, calls, triggers and early redemptions
We’re looking for someone with good knowledge of treasury and rates products, such as FX, money market, and derivative products. You’ll need experience of working in a derivatives middle office, trade support or control role. And we’ll look to you to have strong organisational and prioritisation skills, coupled with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
We’ll also expect you to bring:
- An understanding of the functions performed by other support areas
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in environments of continuous improvement
