GENERAL FUNCTION
This role is responsible for driving Treasury Management revenue with a specialized focus on receivables solutions by partnering with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management Officers, and Product teams to design and deliver strategies that optimize how clients receive, reconcile, and apply incoming funds. Serving as a consultative expert, the position requires deep knowledge of accounts receivable workflows, ERP integrations, and payment data orchestration, leveraging APIs and automation to improve cash application and working capital efficiency.
The role combines technical acumen with strong client engagement, guiding organizations through receivables digitization and payments modernization while supporting complex, enterprise-level opportunities and influencing product innovation through market and client insights.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate deep proficiency in Receivables solutions, including but not limited to lockbox, electronic payments, eLockbox, cash application automation, ACH, Wire and account validation.
Serve as a subject matter expert in AR workflows, including invoice presentment, payment receipt, reconciliation, and posting within ERP systems.
Develop and execute a plan to achieve revenue goals, with emphasis on complex, enterprise-level receivables opportunities.
Act as liaison between Sales, Product, Operations, and IT to deliver integrated solutions across bank platforms and client ERP/TMS environments.
Lead solution design discussions involving APIs, file transmission (e.g., EDI, BAI, XML), and data mapping/validation.
Provide consultative guidance on receivables digitization strategies, including migration from paper-based to electronic channels.
Analyze and articulate the impact of solutions on working capital, liquidity visibility, and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to enhance product capabilities based on client needs, ERP trends, and fintech innovation.
Provide frequent updates with Product Management Teams on new solution requests, feedback, and client needs
Represent Fifth Third in client presentations, industry forums, and strategic discussions related to payments modernization and receivables transformation.
Maintain pipeline visibility and drive opportunities through closure, particularly those involving multi-system integrations and complex implementations.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of Treasury Management, Payments, Fintech, or ERP-related experience.
Demonstrated expertise in Receivables and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes within mid-market or large corporate environments.
Strong technical background integrating banking solutions with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
Experience with APIs, host-to-host connectivity, file-based integrations (EDI, XML, CSV), and data transformation/mapping.
Deep understanding of cash application, remittance data challenges, and reconciliation workflows.
Ability to engage in technical and operational conversations with client stakeholders, including Treasury, IT, and Finance teams.
Experience working with or alongside fintech platforms (e.g., AR automation, payment aggregators, reconciliation tools) strongly preferred.
Proven consultative selling skills with ability to translate client workflows into actionable solution design.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex integrations in business terms.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
