About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position within the Treasury Operations – Bank Infrastructure team, part of the Global Cash Management function. The team is responsible for managing global liquidity and transaction banking infrastructure. In this role, you will gain exposure to core treasury settlements, online banking platforms, treasury management systems, and strategic treasury projects, while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Global Treasury Operations team as a Treasury Settlements Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily treasury settlements supporting Group Treasury liquidity and funding operations, with an annual settlement volume of approximately USD 500 billion.


You will also act as the custodian of static master data within the Treasury Management System (TMS) and collaborate closely with Global Cash Management teams on visibility, re-banking, and integration initiatives to deliver best-in-class treasury services aligned with Group Treasury and Risk objectives.


This will include:

  • Execute treasury settlements through TMS and banking platforms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage cash operations including liquidity planning, bank reconciliations, intercompany funding, FX settlements, and money market activities.
  • Ensure compliance with treasury governance frameworks, risk policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage payment workflows via Payments Hub and SWIFT interfaces.
  • Handle trade confirmations and reconciliation with counterparties.
  • Perform cash flow forecasting and maintain adequate liquidity across entities.
  • Investigate and resolve trade/payment discrepancies and unmatched confirmations.
  • Maintain records for failed trades, claims, and audit-related documentation.
  • Administer and maintain TMS static data for banking relationships.
  • Support corporate finance initiatives including M&A and capital investments.
  • Assist in e-banking administration, Corporate KYC and user access controls.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives in treasury operations.
  • Perform periodic controls and compliance checks with proper documentation.
  • Prepare and present KPI reports to stakeholders.
  • Support system enhancements including SWIFT ISO migration and UAT activities.

 

Who are we looking for:

We are seeking a finance professional with a degree in Finance or Accounting and demonstrated expertise in Global Treasury and Cash Management across Front, Middle, and Back Office functions.

  • 10+ years of experience in Treasury and Cash Management within large MNC.
  • Deep expertise in treasury settlements, liquidity management, cash forecasting, and financial instruments.
  • E2E ownership of global treasury settlement processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and risk mitigation.
  • Proven project & change leadership, delivering global initiatives including system integrations, re‑banking, and process transformation.
  • Strong command of SWIFT messaging standards, including ISO 20022 (CAMT) and MT formats (101, 103, 199, 300, 320, 940, 942), applied in complex treasury environments.
  • Solid knowledge of Treasury & Risk (T&R) governance, controls, compliance, and audit support frameworks.
  • Advanced reporting and analytics skills, designing KPI dashboards and translating data into actionable leadership insights.
  • Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint) to drive automation and operational efficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders across functions & geographies.
  • Highly analytical problem-solver, with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
  • Effective collaborator and stakeholder manager, partnering with internal teams and external vendors in a global operating model.
  • Proactive, accountable leader with a continuous improvement and ownership mindset.

  • Strong experience across TMS, ERP, and global e‑banking platforms, with a solid understanding of digital banking ecosystems.
  • Hands‑on leader in digital enablement, leveraging technology to streamline treasury processes and drive efficiency.
  • Advanced reporting and automation capability, using Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft tools (Excel, Power Apps, SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams).
  • Exposure to advanced analytics and AI‑enabled tools (e.g., Python, Tableau) to enhance insights and decision‑making.
  • Governance of treasury master data within TMS and ERP environments, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
