About the Role

What’s the mission you’ll drive
Upgrade treasury processes and establish controls to mitigate risks by implementing a Treasury Management System, manage daily cash forecast and cash flows and improve forecast accuracy, implementing Colombian regulatory frameworks for treasury and ensure its compliance.
What you will do

Maintain a precise daily cash flow forecasting model that reaches at least 98% accuracy in predicting inflows and outflows for the short-term (1 week to 2 months), as accurate cash visibility is a must for decision making in our business.

Successfully implement a Treasury Management System that integrats with NetSuite, automate key processes (including daily cash flow forecast, payment runs for supplies as well as payroll)*and cash flow reporting, track compliance and process payments. This is a key requirement as the company evolves to a regulated entity.

Improve treasury operations and systems by designing company policies and enforce treasury controls to ensure 100% compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting with 100% compliance with Colombian financial regulations and audit requirements (including their integration within the TMS) and draft all relevant procedures and manuals. As the processes currently are manual, must perform a comprehensive 360-degree review and propose improvements and changes in processes, systems, and personnel.
What we’re looking for

Treasury expertise in regulated entities:
-
Minimum of 5 years of treasury experience in a bank or regulated financial institution/fintech in Colombia.

Deep understanding of regulatory requirements, including cash flow controls, compliance and reporting, investment restrictions and essential processes.

Experience working with ERP platforms.

TMS knowledge:
-
Experience in managing a Treasury Management System within a regulated entity in Colombia.

Familiarity with integrating TMS tools with accounting systems and ensuring seamless automation of treasury functions.

Having implemented a TMS is a huge plus.

Cash flow management and forecasting:

Proven ability to build/manage detailed cash flow forecasting models.

Experience analyzing trends to optimize working capital and ensure adequate liquidity under varying scenarios.

Controls and risk management:

Experience in designing and/or enforcing internal controls to manage risks within a regulated entity treasury.

Ability to identify and mitigate operational inefficiencies and financial risks through structured policies.

Step 3: Excel Assessment (90 mins- Live)
You'll do a live 90 min Excel test to assess your Excel skills. -
Step 4: Case Study (3-5 Days)
You may receive a real-world challenge or case study to complete. This is a chance to showcase your expertise and how you approach key problems relevant to the role. -
Step 5: Deep Dive Interviews (30 min each)
You'll meet future colleagues and cross-functional team members to get a feel for how we work together. We’re looking for strong contributors and cultural fits, so bring your questions, too! -
Step 5: Co-Founder Interview
If there’s a strong match, you’ll have a final conversation with our Founder to align on expectations, cultural fit and ensure mutual excitement. From there, we’ll move quickly to an offer and discuss next steps.
