What you’ll do at Elekta
At Elekta, we don’t just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. Group Treasury is responsible for managing Elekta’s foreign exchange rate and interest rate risks, short-term and long-term funding of the Group’s operations, and cash and liquidity optimization.
Responsibilities also include reporting of cash flow, treasury-related financial results, forecasts and KPIs to Group Management, Board of Directors and the external market through support to Investor Relations, as well as managing bank, capital markets and rating agency relationships.
The Treasury Manager will play an instrumental part in Elekta’s Treasury function, responsible for securing the Treasury operational activities and settlement of financial transactions of Elekta. On top of managing the daily operations, a constant focus on operational improvements within the Treasury function is a key part of your work.
You will work with two colleagues in the Treasury function and report to the Group Treasurer.
Responsibilities
In addition to the above, the Treasury Manager will also take on responsibilities such as:
- Monitor and administrate the Group’s currency accounts and cash pools.
- Improve and develop administrative processes and routines within Treasury.
- Generate weekly and monthly liquidity reports.
- Be a super user in systems AARO, M3 and Kyriba.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Group’s treasury policies and procedures.
- Execute settlement-related payments and invoices.
- Reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Daily contact with Elekta’s transaction banks for settlement-related events.
What you bring
To be successful in this role, we believe that you have a minimum 3 years of experience in Treasury within Corporate Treasury or a bank. In addition, we believe you have:
- A University degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong interest in financial markets.
- Fluency in English in both writing and speaking.
- Experience from working with Kyriba, Qlik Sense and AARO.
- Team player who thrives in a high-paced complex, dynamic and global environment.
- Proactive attitude, taking initiative and trying to find solutions.
- Structured and logical approach to ways of working.
- Actively focused on achieving results and objectives
