Job Description
The role of Treasury Lead is responsible for all Treasury and Insurance activities of Singapore, Malaysia & China FEC. This includes keep track & renew of insurance policy, prepare cash flows forecast and managing local company cash flows, assess the foreign currency exposures, business & legal requirements of treasury functions.
The role is responsible for ensuring close collaboration with IHQ Treasury on strategic directives and legal compliance of the treasury functions.
- Responsible in supporting the principal opcos in Malaysia on matters relating to treasury, financing & coordinating key insurance policies with IHQ Treasury.
- Strategic development of the treasury function in alignment to Corporate IHQ and local requirements.
- Liaise & coordinate with IHQ on treasury, banking/financing & insurance topics, on global policies & strategic directives for local implementations.
- Cash and Liquidity Management by preparing monthly cash flow forecasts to present to regional HQ and IHQ Treasury
- Proactively Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard financial stability
- Support FEC and other department on projects as & when is required.
- Investigate and roll out technology and automation opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance.
- More than 5-year experience in a similar position with corporate treasury experience, preferably with experience in the banking industries.
- Team player, hands-on, proactive, good communication skills, independent/self-starter, eager to learn and further develop, act with a sense of urgency.
- Experience in working in an international environment
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
