Role Purpose
The Back Office Senior Manager will lead and optimise all back-office operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, strong financial controls, regulatory compliance, and high-quality reporting to support effective treasury and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all back-office operations, including payments, settlements, reconciliations, and bank account administration
- Drive the optimisation and centralisatioon of the Back-office activities, including centralisation of Bank accounts and effective management of bank mandates
- Design and maintain robust internal controls and governance frameworks
- Manage operational, financial, and fraud risk, including segregation of duties
- Lead internal and external audit engagements
- Oversee daily cash positioning, liquidity reporting, and cash forecasting
- Support FX, debt, and investment settlements in close partnership with Treasury
- Good understanding of debt related documentation
- Help to develop TMS system driving automation and straight-through processing
- Lead system implementations for back-office processes, integrations, and data quality improvements
- Deliver accurate operational and financial reporting, providing insight into liquidity and working capital
- Manage Bank reconciliation activities
- Manage KYC
- Lead, develop, and mentor the back-office team, setting clear roles, KPIs, and performance expectations
- Act as a key stakeholder interface with banks, auditors, Finance, and senior leadership

- Strong background in treasury operations, payments, settlements, and cash management
- Experience with TMS and ERP platforms (e.g. Kyriba, SAP, Workday)
- Deep understanding of financial controls, audit, and compliance frameworks
- Proven experience leading teams and driving process improvement
