Job Description:

The Role

The Treasury Associate is responsible for reporting, accrual accounting, maintaining the group database and all contact information & contingency planning documents. In addition, the ideal candidate will also be responsible for supporting the Treasury Analysts in the proper and timely execution of Firm Settlements and management of the Firm’s Liquidity needs.

· Maintain data for Balance Sheet, Liquidity & Dividend forecasts and distribute daily

· Maintain data for the Brokerage Treasurer’s report and distribute daily

· Support Treasury Team in creating senior management presentations and ad-hoc reporting

· Support the development of liquidity and investment options to support new products

· Participate in the production of quarterly and ad-hoc management analysis/reporting.

· Monitor incoming Fed Wire activity and manage the Participant Fund Requirements/Portfolio,

· Manage the product settlements, and firm settlement/liquidity management for the multi-currency offering

The Skills & Expertise that you bring

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

· Detailed, accounting driven work

· Series 7 preferred, or commitment to attain within 12 months

· Ability to meet department operating hours: 8:00 am to Fed close.

· Strong Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills

· Ability to handle complex data sets and maintain them at a detailed level as well as good problem-solving skills.

· Self-motivated and able to thrive in an independent, fast paced dynamic environment.

The Team

This position is within the Brokerage Treasury Group of Fidelity Institutional and is responsible for managing key assets and liabilities for Fidelity’s Brokerage Business. The team is responsible for the management and allocation of credit facilities with external credit providers. Brokerage Treasury also works directly with regulatory, legal, finance and credit risk groups. The group takes a strategic leadership role in the development of the funding alternatives and investment options necessary to meet the long-term business objectives of our internal business partners.

The base salary range for this position is $47,000-$74,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
