Role:- 

Treasury Analyst - Full Time W2 

Location:-
New York City, NY
Salary:- 

$70,000 - $95,000 

Responsibilities:-

• Review and approve customer withdrawal and deposit requests
• Investigate and report on any deposit or withdrawal breaks.
• Monitor, analyze and generate reports on the company’s daily cash position to cover cash commitments and assist in the execution of the daily cash management duties
• Support corporate accounting, corporate tax, financial planning, internal audit and other functions as they relate to Treasury transactions
• Act as a treasury liaison with the company’s business units in setting up new banking accounts, services, and handling bank inquiries and related matters
• Assist other departments (e.g., audit, accounting) with quarter-end and ad-hoc information requests as needed
• Assist with short- and long-term intercompany settlements and transactions
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on cash position and movements
• Adhere to month-end cut-off schedules by cash department personnel for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts, all month-end processes, and all related journal entries
• Manage cash flow, income, liability obligations and assets

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field required
• Ability to quickly understand complex transactions
• Candidates should have intermediate experience with Excel, Ability to analyze, parse and organize data, Capability to create and maintain pivot tables. H-lookups, V-lookups, Data Queries, etc.
• Experience with Google Sheets is not a hard requirement but would be nice to have.
• Experience with PowerPoint and the ability to produce / present data metrics in presentations.
• Candidates should have experience with USD payment rails and infrastructure (ACH, Wires, SWIFT, CHIPS, etc.)
• Candidates should have experience with managing bank portals.
• Ability to apply finance and treasury principles
• Proficiency in accounting
• 2-5 years of corporate treasury experience.
• Experience with SEC/FINRA Broker Dealer regulated institutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented and self-directed.
• Series 99 Licensed (Highly preferred).
