- Process Optimization: Identify structural gaps in local school reporting, propose agile optimization solutions, and drive the transition toward centralized treasury standards.
- Change Management: Act as a central point of contact to ensure smooth onboarding and training of local School Finance Partners into the new centralized systems.
- Model Ownership: Lead and manage the 12-week rolling cash flow forecast for all schools and holding entities.
- Data Integrity & Gatekeeping: Review financial submissions from School Finance Partners, actively challenging assumptions and pushing back on inconsistencies to ensure absolute data quality.
- Cash Committee Leadership: Prepare and co-lead the weekly cash meeting pack (covering group cash positions, actual vs. forecast variances, accounts payable ageing highlights, and proposed payment runs).
- Master Schedule Oversight: Maintain and reconcile the Master Debt Schedule against Xero and underlying loan agreements (tracking principal repayments, interest schedules, and maturities).
- Lender Relations Support: Ensure all debt service obligations are seamlessly integrated into liquidity forecasts and assist in preparing lender reporting packs.
- Mandate Repository: Maintain a pristine, up-to-date central register of every Enko bank account, authorized signatory, and corporate limit across all jurisdictions.
- Compliance: Review all new bank account opening packs for compliance and accuracy before formal corporate submission.
We are looking for a "Hands-on Strategist" who balances deep analytical rigor with the agility and project management skills needed to build a function from the ground up.
- Your Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, financial analysis, or an analytical corporate finance role, ideally coupled with exposure to project management or Shared Service Centre implementations.
- Project Management Skills: Highly structured, organized, and capable of setting up processes, documenting workflows, and managing transition timelines.
- Technical Savvy: Advanced mastery of Excel / Google Sheets is non-negotiable. Experience with cloud accounting ecosystems (such as Xero) is highly expected.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in both English and French is required. Operating in a multicultural and multilingual environment, you must be fully comfortable leading technical discussions, writing reports, and collaborating with stakeholders in both languages.
- The "Ownership" Mindset: You completely own your numbers. You possess the emotional intelligence and communication skills needed to confidently defend forecast assumptions, handle pushbacks, and challenge senior school stakeholders.
- Geographical Flexibility: Exposure to African banking landscapes, local FX constraints, and multi-country environments is a significant asset.
- Direct Visibility & Impact: Work hand-in-hand with the Group Treasurer with direct visibility from the CFO, offering an unparalleled learning curve early in your career.
- Blank Canvas: A rare opportunity to help build a centralized treasury function from scratch within a fast-growing multi-country group.
- Mission with Purpose: Contribute to a value-driven organization that is genuinely transforming the future of education across the African continent.
- Culture Fit Interview: To align on our mission, culture, and values.
- Technical Case Study: A practical exercise focused on cash forecasting logic, variance analysis, and problem-solving.
