Work Environment: NGL offers a flexible work environment where employees can work fully remote, hybrid or onsite at our Madison, Wis. office. We support virtual working arrangements in certain states outside of WI.

A Day in the Life:

The Treasury Analyst prepares monthly and ad hoc analysis on bank fees as well as analysis on banking services the company uses. This individual will administer banking access and oversee third party administrative bank accounts. This position will also be responsible for reconciling assigned cash accounts monthly and facilitating corrections. Additional responsibilities include rejecting/approving bank exceptions and assisting in setting up or releasing manual bank wires and ACHs.

  

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain banking administration, including bank signer process as well as overseeing third party administered bank accounts.
  • Reconcile assigned cash accounts and facilitate corrections with designated banks.
  • Ensure proper banking services are being used and facilitate changes when necessary.
  • Assist in daily processing of manual ACHs and wires.
  • Analyze and validate existing bank fees and services.
  • Conduct trend analysis with assigned banks and provide cost effective recommendations.
  • Upload positive pay files, review and manage exceptions to detect and prevent fraud.
  • Reject or approve daily banking exceptions.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and document best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in audits related to treasury activities as needed.
  • Identify and recommend process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and to optimize banking services.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Service Operations such as Claims, New Business and Payment Services on treasury-related items.
  • Perform other projects as assigned.

Schedule:
This is full-time hybrid exempt position. Primary hours are 8am to 4:30pm; or as needed for department coverage.  Hybrid schedule as needed for department coverage.

Essential to Your Success:


  • Demonstrated knowledge with banking systems and tools for managing payments and transactions
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with NGL employees, management, and external parties
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, and to ensure effective and timely delivery of services
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of cash flows and banking services

      

    Education Requirements:

    Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field highly desired.

    Years of Experience:

    Required:  A minimum of one year of treasury experience required.
