What’s on offer?

Based in Richmond and reporting to the Treasury Manager, our Group finance team is looking to appoint a Treasury Accountant to join the Group Treasury team.

As part of our Group Corporate function, this role provides broad exposure across all our business streams in Australia and New Zealand, offering plenty of opportunities to add value through various activities. You'll be engaging with multiple stakeholders across Fulton Hogan, making it ideal for someone who enjoys stakeholder management and effective communication throughout the business.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness and long-term stability of the function, while building and maintaining confidence with customer and stakeholder expectations and deliverables. Among your other responsibilities, you will:

  • Perform daily banking tasks across FHL group, including cash transfers on a daily basis.
  • Provide customer service to FHL employees in relation to the Treasury function.
  • Manage registers for Bank accounts
  • Analyse cash investment levels using source data and bank account statements in accordance with Treasury policy.
  • Transfer surplus cash daily for investment purposes to minimise low yield cash balances.
  • Maintenance of account signatory and SSI registers.
  • Management and storage of important legal documents such as ISDAs, loan documents, banking agreements.
  • Estimate and review actual closing cash balances against forecast.

Ideally, you hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, or accounting, with a background in corporate treasury being desirable but not essential. Your strong understanding of debt financing, along with your ability to review, verify, and confirm the integrity of financial data, will set you up for success. Additionally, your analytical approach to decision-making and your ability to build strong relationships and influence positive outcomes across different levels of the organisation will help you thrive in this position.
