Travel Coordinator

Provides operational, technical, and training support across the Travel Business Line, including Travel Training, Help Desk, Reservation Center, Group Travel, and Headquarters Travel staff.

Partners with leadership to analyze workflows, identify opportunities for operational improvement, and support the implementation of travel systems, programs, and business initiatives.

Acts as a subject matter expert in travel technology, agency operations, and vendor processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and best-in-class service delivery.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for properly maintaining and securing master programs and coordinating implementation at all locations.

  • Coordinate special projects impacting multiple travel departments.

  • Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure alignment and successful execution.

  • Assists in identifying, developing, and implementing procedural, technical and vendor training to Travel Agents.

  • Effectively interacts with Travel Department Business Partners.

  • Keeps abreast of ongoing changes in travel and travel technology.

Qualifications

  • High School GED Required

  • 1-3 years Travel Agent or related experience.

  • Required Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of retail travel agency operations and industry regulations required.

  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of travel automation system. Experience with Sabre Preferred.

  • Salesforce Experience Preferred.

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and to coordinate people and activities.

  • Light typing required.
