Job Summary:
We are looking for a Travel Consultant – Ticketing, Refunds & Reissues to manage domestic and international ticketing operations, including bookings, cancellations, refunds, reissues, and schedule changes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with GDS systems, strong knowledge of airline fare rules and refund processes, and the ability to deliver accurate and timely support while ensuring compliance with airline and company policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle international flight amendments, including date change, reissuance, rerouting, cancellation, refund, and name correction, as per airline policies.
- Interpret and apply fare rules accurately for revalidation and reissue cases.
- Coordinate with airlines for waiver approvals, schedule changes, and involuntary cases.
- Manage ADM prevention by ensuring correct pricing and compliance with airline policies.
- Provide prompt support to B2B agents via calls, emails, and CRM tools.
- Maintain TAT and SLA as per company standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain proper case notes in the system.
- Handle queue management and prioritize urgent cases.
- Support escalations and complex amendment scenarios efficiently.
- Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of international ticketing and amendment processes.
- Hands-on experience in GDS (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre).
- Good understanding of fare construction and airline penalty structures.
- Ability to handle pressure and manage high volumes.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in domestic and international air ticketing.
- Hands-on experience in ticket reissues, refunds, cancellations, and voluntary and involuntary schedule changes.
- Strong understanding of airline fare rules, fare construction, taxes, penalties, and ADM management.
- Proficiency in GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Experience with B2B travel platforms such as TripJack, TBO, Akbar Online, TravClan, or similar OTA systems.
- Good knowledge of airline schedule change and waiver policies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet SLA/TAT requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
