About the Role

We’re looking for a MICE & Travel Consultant who can expertly handle both domestic and international corporate group travel, manage large-scale MICE operations, and deliver high-quality service to our business clients.

You will lead end-to-end travel management for conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and incentive trips — ensuring every journey is smooth, cost-effective, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Event Management

✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their MICE and travel requirements.
✅ Design and manage end-to-end travel logistics for domestic and international conferences, incentives, and events.
✅ Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and venues to ensure seamless execution of all travel and event components.
✅ Handle travel-related requests for delegates, speakers, and groups — from itinerary planning to onsite coordination.

Travel Planning & Booking

✅ Use the Tumodo platform and GDS tools (Sabre or equivalent) to book group and individual travel — flights, hotels, transfers, and related services.
✅ Suggest optimal routes, fares, and accommodation options aligned with budget and policy.
✅ Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and DMCs to secure competitive group rates and added benefits.
✅ Manage both domestic and international bookings efficiently for MICE movements and corporate travel.

Operational Excellence

✅ Coordinate visa assistance, travel documentation, and insurance as required.
✅ Ensure compliance with clients’ travel policies and Tumodo’s service standards.
✅ Handle last-minute changes, rebookings, and disruptions with professionalism and speed.
✅ Provide on-ground or remote support during key MICE events and trips when required.

Continuous Improvement

✅ Stay current with travel trends, event technologies, and destination updates.
✅ Contribute to process enhancements and automation initiatives for smoother MICE operations.
✅ Participate in training and development to strengthen expertise in MICE and corporate travel management.

Requirements for Success

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or Business Administration (preferred).
✔ Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MICE operations and corporate travel management.
✔ Strong knowledge of both domestic and international travel bookings.
✔ Proficiency in Sabre or other GDS systems is essential.
✔ Excellent communication, client handling, and negotiation skills.
✔ Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
