Nous recherchons un(e) Chargé(e) de Recherche en Recherche Translationnelle, pour rejoindre notre groupe d'oncologie à Toulouse (site de l'Oncopôle, France).

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Research Associate to join our Translational Research group in Toulouse (Oncopôle site, France). Pierre Fabre Group is committed to Medical Care R&D to bring novel, innovative therapeutic opportunities to patients in need. Precision oncology is a major priority and constitutes a strategic focus for the Pierre Fabre Group. The internal R&D pipeline, supplemented with future external opportunities, will be central in shaping the future orientation of Pierre Fabre Medical Care.
Missions
- Design, implement and execute cell-based functional assays
- Convert translational plan and preclinical biomarker strategies into in vitro experimental studies to support decision in drug development
- Conduct mechanism of action and in vitro preclinical proof-of-concept studies to profile novel therapeutics, as single agent or in combination across multiple cancer indications
- Identify, validate and execute back-translation assays from clinical trials and implement emerging technologies to support biomarker development and clinical applications
- Analyze data and communicate results in team meetings and cross-functional meetings
- Establish and coordinate collaborations with external partners and CROs to achieve high standards of productivity and quality to extend our capabilities to fit project needs
Qualifications, experience and skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Life Sciences discipline such as cell biology, molecular biology, immunology or biochemistry
- 5+ years of professional experience in drug discovery and/or translational research in pharma industry or biotech is required
- Hands-on working knowledge with a range of in vitro biochemical and cellular techniques
- Extensive cell culture and molecular biology experience is required
- Experience in cancer biology is valued
- Knowledge in genomics and proteomics approaches are a plus
- Proficiency in assay development is highly desirable, with high level of independent and critical thinking and solution-oriented mindset
- Motivated and agile team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment across the R&D organization
- Excellent oral, and written communication skills in French and in English are essential
