Howden is looking for an experienced Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to join our Group Tax team and take the lead on all Transfer Pricing matters. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s transfer pricing strategy and compliance, working closely with the Group Head of Tax and collaborating with teams across legal, treasury, and finance.

Key Responsibilities:
Transfer Pricing Strategy

Develop and refine transfer pricing policies in line with the Group’s expansion.

Collaborate with legal, treasury, and finance teams to design and implement transfer pricing policies for intra-group debt, ensuring compliance through an annual review process.

Identify opportunities to improve Network Fee methodology and work with the business to implement changes.

Stay up to date with global transfer pricing regulations, ensuring the Group’s policies remain compliant and aligned with best practices.
Transfer Pricing Compliance

Manage the Local File Transfer Pricing engagement with a Big 4 advisor, refining scope and ensuring high-quality compliance.

Oversee the annual local transfer pricing file process, reviewing outputs and ensuring alignment with Group policies.

Develop an annual compliance process to monitor and enforce adherence to Group transfer pricing policies.
Wider Tax Team Support

Provide transfer pricing expertise on Group Tax workstreams, including Pillar 2, Country-by-Country Reporting (CBCR), M&A, risk assessments, and tax authority enquiries.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Qualified tax professional (ACA / CTA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in transfer pricing.

Background in in-house transfer pricing for a large organisation and/or experience in a Big 4 firm.

A proactive, results-driven mindset with the confidence to propose and implement improvements.

Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across different business functions.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to non-technical audiences and make clear recommendations to finance and business teams.
