Our Investor Onboarding (“IOB”) team within our Transfer Agency Department will be responsible for investor due diligence and focused on providing quality AML/KYC review, assessment and technical investors’ account opening in accordance to our TA AML Program, applicable legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal policies and procedures.
The individual is expected to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate logical thinking and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, capable to deliver timely and accurate execution and willingness to collaborate and contribute as one team within a global organizational environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Transaction Processing:
- Input and validation of transfer agency related transactions
- Transaction monitoring, assignment and reconciliation
- Handle and follow through special processing situations
- Preparation and status monitoring of internal or external reporting
Investor Onboarding:
- Perform TA KYC/AML review, investigation, assessment on investor, carry out systems account setup.
- Investors documentation scanning and records archiving
- Perform review and systems update on investor’s static data requests
- Screening of investor information against Global Sanctions and negative news lists etc.
- Liaise and escalate AML issues with relevant internal when required
General:
- Assist Manager in reviewing and updating operational checklists and procedures to facilitate continuous enhancement of service standards and control measures for the Department
- Ensure firmwide and client specific policies and procedures are properly adhered and evidenced
- Ensure all enquiries (internal and external) are addressed in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with local and global teams to deliver operational and service excellence
- Proactive participation and contribution to local or global projects and initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
- BA/MS degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of financial industry experience with Transfer Agency or AML/KYC background
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn
- Attention to detail and proven ability to handle complexity
- Ability to multi-tasks effectively under pressure
- Good knowledge of standard Office applications. (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and prior experience of Multifonds TA is an advantage
- Fluency in verbal and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese is highly preferred
- Willingness to provide work coverage during Hong Kong bank holidays when needed
