We are seeking a full time office based Transaction Supervisor to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Bedford, MK43 9EJ. (Due to the location of the office you must drive & have access to a car)

The Transaction Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Transaction Manager to lead the team to provide excellent customer service.  They are responsible for ensuring Copart Credit control, Seller Payments and invoicing processes are followed. To liaise with Sellers and Sales on a day-to-day basis and to provide support to Transaction Manager where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing Credit Control team.

  • Drive colleague engagement, communication, and performance management.

  • Oversee daily credit control operations, ensuring service levels and KPIs are consistently achieved.

  • Manage debt collection, aged debt reporting, invoice processing, payment administration, and query resolution.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor team performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practices.

  • Work collaboratively across departments to resolve issues and support business objectives.

  • Promote a culture aligned with company values, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

  • Apply commercial awareness and contract knowledge to support effective decision-making.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Credit Control.

  • Proven leadership and people management experience.

  • Strong communication, coaching, and team development skills.

  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Customer-focused with strong organisational and IT skills.

  • Ability to work independently, use initiative, and drive process improvements.
