About this opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Professional to act as the primary spokesperson and focal point for EHS matters with Vodafone Egypt.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards across the Vodafone Egypt account, while also contributing as a functional EHS Manager across the CSS unit in the Middle East & Africa.
This is a critical and high-visibility position within a dynamic, multicultural, and operational environment, offering the opportunity to lead EHS governance, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary EHS point of contact (SPOC) for Vodafone Egypt, managing all EHS communications, requirements, and escalations
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and Ericsson OHS frameworks
- Implement and monitor contractor management processes, including onboarding, evaluation, and performance tracking
- Supervise and report on EHS performance, audits, and inspections across internal teams and external suppliers
- Support and oversee EHS integration in field operations and ensure adherence across delivery teams
- Prepare and submit EHS reports, incident investigations, and compliance documentation
- Lead and support customer audits, ensuring readiness and proper documentation
- Drive the resolution of EHS non-conformances and corrective actions
- Build strong partnerships with customer EHS representatives and internal stakeholders
- Lead EHS governance, programs, and initiatives across the CSS unit in Middle East & Africa
- Support incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and crisis management activities
- Track EHS KPIs, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with global and regional objectives
- Promote EHS awareness, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives
The skills you bring:
- Degree or recognized qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or Environment (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS management within complex, multicultural environments
- Strong experience with EHS management systems and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Proven experience in incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and crisis management
- Experience managing contractors and supplier performance
- Background in training, auditing, and EHS documentation development
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations in Middle Eastern countries
- Experience working with customers and stakeholders in a service delivery environment
- Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical or high-risk situations

- Telecom industry knowledge (RAN, operations, field services)
- Experience with behavioral safety programs and psychosocial risk management
- Certifications in First Aid, Fire Safety, Working at Heights, etc.
