Position Summary
A Training Specialist is responsible for supporting all of Core Operations by consistently providing effective and efficient training to onboard new employees and provide supplemental training to existing employees. Training Specialists are responsible for ensuring training participants are set up to be a successful, productive member of the team capable of meeting the departments performance expectations. Trainers should be well-versed in all processes and workflows across Core Ops.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Facilitate training programs for both new hires and existing employees
- Maintain, revise, and prepare training program materials/curriculum
- Assess employee performance and provide feedback to leadership and employees
- Consult with leadership team on performance management for employees in training, and provide updates to leadership and Human Resources as needed
- Incorporate feedback from leadership and participant surveys for continued improvement of training curriculum
- Monitor progress of training program
- Identify potential or existing system and/or procedural challenges and notify leadership and assist in resolution, if needed
- Consistently meet MedRisk Core Values & competencies
- Consistently meet and/or exceed departmental goals
- Complete special projects, tasks, or assignments as assigned by leadership
- Assist with tasks across Core Operations, per business need, as assigned by leadership
- Understand and comply with MedRisk’s interdepartmental procedures and policies
- Be knowledgeable regarding our client’s unique needs
- Actively participate in assisting Trainers with workshops and training

Qualifications
Minimum Formal Education:
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Minimum Work Experience:
- Internal Candidates:
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience at MedRisk
Special Skills/Certifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely convey information to individuals or groups

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Office& Home environment (hybrid working model)
- This position requires consistent communication both verbally and electronically. Candidate must be able to utilize exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- While mostly sedentary, the job includes walking, standing, sitting, possible twisting, kneeling
- Visual acuity (color, depth perception and field of vision)
- Substantial movements (motions) of the arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers
9 AM - 6 PM EST, on-site requirement 3-5 days per week.
