Job Summary:

As the Training Manager at Prysmian Marshall plant, you will be responsible for redesigning the training program to align with organizational needs. Your primary focus will be to enhance the skills and knowledge of our newly hired employees and current workforce. You will collaborate closely with Production, Engineering and Quality as member of the HR department to develop and implement effective training strategies that support operational excellence and leadership development. The training program will require systematic and timely updates as new machines, equipment, and processes are developed within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the effort of redesigning Prysmian’s training program to meet organizational needs.

- Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Quality departments to identify training needs, prioritize initiatives, and develop comprehensive training plans that enhance technical skills and operational efficiency.

- Update and maintain all training documents, manuals, and procedures to reflect current industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

- Ensure the sustainability of the training program by monitoring effectiveness, collecting feedback, and continuously improving training content and delivery methods.

- Design curriculum aimed at developing strong front-line leaders, focusing on leadership skills and managerial competencies.

- Deliver and facilitate training content to all employees as required.

- Lead the transition to a paperless and digital platform, ensuring all training materials and resources are updated and easily accessible.

- Supervise, mentor and coach 2-4 direct reports

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with a proven track record in training management

- 5-7 years of experience in training and development is required (preferred experience in a manufacturing environment)

- Experience managing a team and coordinating training initiatives across multiple departments.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

- Experience in implementing digital and paperless training solutions, including proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels across the organization.

- Innovative mindset with a passion for developing modern training methodologies and content that drives employee engagement and performance.
