Under the direction of a Sr. Manager, Quality Systems & Quality Control is responsible for overseeing, planning, and scheduling the training of associates to perform a variety of warehouse-related functions such as receiving, scanning, inducting, material handling, and shipping products, inventory control, and safe equipment operation.
Responsible for training associates to use the appropriate operations software platforms utilized in the facility.
Training programs must follow client and facility guidelines and SOPs.
Ensure associates are trained on HRIS and the timekeeping platform.
Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Develop training curriculums for Operational positions.
  • Develop SOPs when needed that will drive consistent processes
  • Create and maintain the training schedules for warehouse associates
  • Develop and maintain a training curriculum to facilitate annual training
  • Expand and deliver KPIs to Leadership regarding the status of the training program.
  • Facilitates New Hire Training and Onboarding as needed
  • Develop a Designated Trainer program and certify the existing Trainers
  • Answer questions and help associates meet their daily production, accuracy, and safety goals
  • Ensure retraining of associates is scheduled and provide training as necessary
  • Assist with Identifying the root cause for common errors made and develop a solution to resolve
  • Work with warehouse Trainers and Supervisors to ensure associates have all the tools necessary to complete their job responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with all other functional areas, especially Quality, to ensure the execution of training objectives for warehouse associates.
  • Ensure associates are provided with a safe, hazard-free work environment.
  • Facilities New Hire Training and Onboarding as needed

Quality Management

  • Ensure training notifications are sent to support the completion of training in a timely manner.
  • Manage all onboarding and offboarding documentation activities of associates related to associate training files hires.
  • Attend Management Review meetings and provide training data for the meetings.

Document Management 

  • Assist in creating and updating policies/procedures for quality systems/processes.
  • Support document change request
  • Work with SMEs to identify target audience for document training needs

Audit Management 

  • Participate with and support internal, customer, SOC, and agency audits; prepare audit information. Identify and timely complete corrective actions related to training deficiencies, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities with at least 5 years of experience facilitating and executing a training program.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computers and programs specific to operations and operations reporting, including MS Office (Excel, MS Word).
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and compliance processes.
  • Ability to train associates within the warehouse, as needed and if applicable 
  • Ability to communicate proficiently in both English and Spanish preferred as may be assisting both English and Spanish speaking associates. Multilingualism would be beneficial to the success of the training program.
  • Ability to maintain the warehouse Training Matrix for all positions and associates
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Work with Leadership to deliver training curriculums as needed to meet facility goals
  • Ability to prioritize and shift priorities to meet the training demand of the facility
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical industry or pharmaceutical reverse logistics required
  • Knowledge of general DEA, FDE, and GDP regulations
  • Intermediate level of skill with computer systems, Microsoft and Google Suite products
  • Experience with training or internal audits
  • Certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
