As the Certification Program Manager for Global Training and Education at Cato Networks you will play a key role in the evolution of the Cato Certification Program. You will manage the complete lifecycle of certification exams from JTAs through to release, continuous improvement and exam retirement. You will also work with other team to ensure alignment of exams, training content and product releases.
This role is key to building a world-class certification program that educates customers, validates skills, drives product adoption, and supports Cato’s business and go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end exam lifecycle, including JTAs, exam blueprint development, item creation, beta testing, release, and maintenance
- Coordinate and facilitate JTA and item writing workshops as well as beta exams sessions
- Establish psychometric and quality standards using industry best practices
- Own the day-to-day operations of the certification program, including process development and documentation
- Manage systems and tools, including exam development tools, exam delivery and proctoring systems, LMS and digital badging systems
- Partner closely with the Training Content Development team to ensure tight alignment between courses and certification exams
- Work together with the Head of Global Training and Education and the Cato Communities team to develop and foster an active Cato Certification Champion community to engage experts in JTAs, item writing, and beta testing
- Identify opportunities to improve program efficiency and scalability
- Support implementation of new tools, processes, and workflows as the program grows
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 5+ years of experience in certification, assessment, or training program management, preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise technology
- 5+ years of experience working with exam delivery platforms and vendors, learning management systems (LMS) and credentialing / digital badging systems
- 3+ years of experience in a project management role
- Strong understanding of the full exam lifecycle including
- JTA methodologies
- Exam blueprinting
- Psychometric principles and exam quality practices
Preferred
- Background in cybersecurity and networking technologies
- Industry certification or degree in project management
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in certification, assessment, or training program management, preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise technology
- 5+ years of experience working with exam delivery platforms and vendors, learning management systems (LMS) and credentialing / digital badging systems
- 3+ years of experience in a project management role
