The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a dynamic and engaging training and testing specialist to join our small team who is comfortable and experienced crafting and delivering a robust training program for a large organization and conducting the unit test and user acceptance test phases of the SDLC.  Your training program will include material for a variety of applications and user facing tools – and will employ all elements of training delivery – reference materials, recorded sessions, as well as both live and virtual demos and training classes.  We’re interested in your creative suggestions on ways to empower users to help themselves, and interested in bringing innovative training offerings to our customer and their user community. In this role, you will provide testing support to our application and suite of user facing and internal team tools by supporting the Lead Tester in conducting the unit test and user acceptance test phases of the SDLC, minimizing risk during deployment to production environment.
You will be offered significant responsibility and visibility on our project and within our customer organization, interaction with users and customers will include those in senior positions and those in decision making roles.

Responsibilities:
             Work independently and with the team to develop proficiency with the functional use of a variety of applications and user facing tools.
             Work on a team to craft a complete training program using a variety of delivery techniques (classroom led, virtual, hard copy reference material).
             Deliver the training and conduct demos
             Organize sustained and reoccurring communication and outreach to all users on items of interest, or learning opportunities.
             Think out of the box - introduction and use of new technology and techniques is encouraged when appropriate.
             Work with the Lead Tester to design and conduct test scripts for the unit test and user acceptance test phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), minimizing risk during deployment to production environment
             Develop test plans and strategies addressing areas including operational scenarios, regressing testing, error/bug retests, performance, repeatability and usability
             Display a sense of urgency while going about these tasks, with a positive and upbeat attitude.
             Participate in team activities such as requirements gathering, design sessions, production issues, as appropriate.
             Develop expertise over time in our application and in our mission

Qualifications:
Required: 
             Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
             7 years related experience
             Significant instructional expertise crafting and delivering new material to users.
             Comfort working in front of large and small audiences.
             Willingness to learn and support legacy tools and software applications.
             Software Testing experience
             Ability to learn and apply functional concepts very quickly

Desired:
             Extensive experience working within the Intelligence Community.
             JIRA experience
             Scrum Master experience

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$94,400 - $198,200
