Founded in 2015, Shield AI is a venture-backed defense technology company whose mission is to protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems. In pursuit of this mission, Shield AI is building the world’s best AI pilot. Its AI pilot, Hivemind, has flown a fighter jet (F-16), a vertical takeoff and landing drone (V-BAT), and a quadcopter (Nova). The company has offices in San Diego, Dallas, Washington DC and abroad. Shield AI’s products and people are currently in the field actively supporting operations with the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. allies. 

Shield AI is looking for a Training Content Creator to help build and maintain training content for a diverse audience. This includes creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and job performance across the company, while working with various departments to understand their unique training needs.

This individual’s content will drive consistency in the daily tasks of all employees, but it will also help to drive the company culture, mission, and core values.

What You'll Do:

• Creating new and engaging training modules in our LMS, using text, audio, video, and cited resources to drive key points home.
• Maintaining a content review cycle to ensure long-term accuracy of material.
• Consuming, understanding, reorganizing, and clearly reiterating highly technical or niche information in a way that can be understood by anyone.
• Creating video content that serves the dual purpose of educating internal parties and informing external parties to support sales initiatives, from scripting to execution to dissemination.
• Building graphics and supporting visuals for training materials, presentations, and other company collateral. 
• Working on multiple tasks concurrently and delivering quality results within deadlines.
• Analyzing training completion and participation statistics to inform the overall strategy.
• And, above all, establishing working relationships with individuals across the company, regardless of position or background. Collaboration is the name of the game in this role, so the ability to proactively reach out to others, get to the crux of a problem or question, and drive conversations is tantamount.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/interest preferred.
• Ability to reorganize and communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to design and create graphics in accordance with brand guidelines.
• Ability to script, film, and/or animate short-form marketing and training videos.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite products preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Confidence to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• A demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.

Total package details:

Regular employee positions: Salary within range listed above + Bonus + Benefits + Equity

Temporary employee positions: Hourly within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)

*Interns/Military Fellows/Part-time not eligible for bonus, benefits or equity
