This position facilitates programs tailored to the needs of Velera and associated systems and processes while providing performance analysis of the learners and consulting with the business. Incumbent will deliver classroom-based and blended learning instruction, gather source materials for the development of the learning curriculum, and collaborate with Organizational Effectiveness staff to adapt approach and delivery based on audience needs. Incumbent will also analyze performance data to determine gaps where the learning curriculum should be enhanced to improve results.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop collaborative relationships with business line management, subject matter experts, and other Organizational Effectiveness staff to identify learning opportunities to close knowledge or performance gaps and gather source content for learning curriculum.
  • Facilitate technical skills, soft skills, and career and professional development programs.
  • Establish performance objectives, learning outcomes, and assessment tools, utilizing established instructional theories and design principles; Deliver blended and classroom-based instruction.
  • Modify custom-designed or off-the-shelf classroom and blended learning programs, based on audience needs.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of learning interventions through associate job performance and post-course delivery assessments; Create assessments for reinforcement, including situational and scenario-based questions; Provide post-learning follow-up to support learning transfer.
  • Provide regular updates to department management of status of all development activities, completion of milestones, and potential conflicts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Role Requirements

Education

Associate's degree in business-related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Experience

One (1) year learning content delivery experience for classroom, or training support or combination of team lead/supervisory roles or responsibilities of mentoring/coaching employees to proficiency in a call center or related financial services business or Training Apprentice Program (TAP) graduate.

  • Computer knowledge includes working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook at the intermediate level.
  • Ability to "think on one’s feet" and tailor the delivery of classroom learning as needed.
  • Must have a track record of producing accurate work, demonstrate attention to detail, and reflect well on the organization.

Pay Equity

$48,200.00

to

$61,400.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
