Join SCOR, a leading global reinsurance company, as a trainee. Become a member of its Risk Capital team in Zurich. This team is responsible for producing, analyzing, reporting, and explaining quarterly internal model results for SCOR Group and SCOR’s subsidiaries. It further produces analytics on capital, ALM and economic performance on business initiatives for other risk departments as well as senior and executive management decisions.
ResponsibilitiesYou are part of an engaged and empowered team and will be working in a wonderful office space in Zurich
You support the quarterly and year-end calculation of SCR and risk margin via running SCOR’s internal model and performing regular analyses and deep dives
You contribute to presentation of key results to both technical and executive committees
- Above average University Degree (Master, PhD) in Actuarial Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or similar discipline
- Proficiency with MS Excel and good knowledge through previous experience with statistical tools and programming languages (Python)
- Good conceptual and analytical capabilities plus being able to approach tasks consistently, goal-oriented and independently
- Excellent communication skills and command in English
- Demonstrates strong proactivity and has a solution-oriented mindset
- Exhibits excellent time management skills and performs effectively under pressure
- Global mind-set, team player attitude and appetite for continuous learning and achievements in an international context
