Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Ignitis Renewables Community Policy team, where you’ll assist Financial Support Coordinator in administering the financial support process. This is a full-time position for five months, starting in August. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Conducting application reviews to ensure document compliance and completing assessment forms
  • Checking and verifying applicants' legal status in governmental databases and updating records as needed
  • Facilitating document translation process by communicating with the translators' bureau or with the use of AI tools
  • Conducting qualitative assessment of project applications by evaluating aims, objectives, project planning and other criteria
  • Contacting applicants via email to request additional documents or corrections to their applications, sending follow-up emails when needed
  • Submitting relevant information about the financial support to relevant internal and external registers
  • Contributing to consistent document and data organization
  • Working closely with community engagement teams in Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or a recent graduate in social sciences, public or business administration, finance, or law
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing documents and entering data
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, keep records organized, and meet tight deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Lithuanian
  • Ability to assess applications, identify missing information, and follow set criteria
  • Experience in student or volunteer organizations, and basic understanding of communities or grant management, would be a plus.
