As we continue to expand, HFM is seeking a driven Trading Platforms Enterprise Software Architect to join our team. You will shape the software we build around our MT4 and MT5 trading servers.
Responsibilities:
- Propose the target architecture for platform applications.
- Propose design standards that protect live trading servers.
- Advise on plugins, gateways and integrations, including latency, threading and failover.
- Agree integration contracts, including liquidity and price feeds.
- Plan the move of platform applications to containers and Amazon EKS.
- Build core shared libraries and validate ideas through proofs of concept and measured results.
- Provide formal architecture input to every project in your area, from discovery to go-live.
- Coach engineers and share patterns teams can use independently.
Requirements
Must have:
- Fluency in English; additional languages would be considered an advantage.
- 10+ years in software engineering, including work on a live trading platform.
- Deep MT4/MT5 knowledge, including the server, gateway and Manager APIs.
- Expert C# and .NET, and modern C++ for server plugins.
- Profiling and tuning latency-sensitive code.
- Has changed the direction of systems through evidence, not authority.
- Clear communicator who leads through influence.
Nice to have:
- SQL, Kafka and ClickHouse.
- Liquidity and price feed integration (PrimeXM or similar).
- Regulated broker experience (CySEC, MiFID II).
- MQL5 and Rust.
- Degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Several years architecting software on or around a live electronic trading platform
- Fluency in English
- Deep knowledge of the MetaQuotes MT4/MT5 ecosystem, including the Manager API
- Expert proficiency in C# and .NET
- Strong C++ proficiency for plugin development
- Advanced SQL proficiency
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and high availability in high-throughput, mission-critical systems
- Experience with liquidity and price-feed integration, including bridge platforms such as PrimeXM
- Familiarity with regulated-broker environments, including CySEC and MiFID II constraints
- Experience designing Windows applications for Kubernetes or Amazon EKS
