About the job
As Paralegal you will manage all administrative tasks & responsibilities for Alfa Laval’s global trademark and domain name portfolios, as well as supporting online monitoring. You will be responsible to operate, quality assure and make improvement suggestions to the end-to-end operating model for clearance, filing, maintenance, and enforcement of trademarks and domain names, as well as online monitoring. You will be an operator of IT tools for Trademark, Domain name and Online monitoring.
Your responsibilities will include:
Docket and update all communications in the IP Management System (IPMS).
Manage product names, trademark families, applications, registrations, cases, deadlines, renewals, and filings.
Coordinate with global law firms and update IPMS after acquisitions, mergers, or divestments.
Gather stakeholder input and send renewal instructions.
Handle legal documents and invoices.
Review renewals/Evidence of Use filings, ensure correct listings, and track instructions.
Send renewal instructions and documentation to external counsel, ensuring accurate records.
Act as a backup for online brand infringement tools (Corsearch, CSC, etc.).
Regularly check and update domain expiry dates in IPMS.
Create email templates for filings, renewals, and registrations.
Docket acquired portfolios and ensure recordals and transfers are completed.
Who you are
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Relevant paralegal experience, preferably for 5+ years, and proven stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is required, Swedish is a plus.
A structured, detail-oriented approach.
A strong service mindset and relationship-building ability.
