As a Trade Finance Operations Manager within our team, you will manage daily operational activities, ensuring compliance with UCP, ISP, URDG, Boycott regulations, and OFAC. You will analyze processes, identify improvement areas, and execute action plans to enhance efficiency and turnaround time. Your role will involve supporting managers in driving process efficiency, managing crisis situations, and motivating the team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operational activities for Trade Finance.
- Analyze processes to identify improvement areas and execute action plans.
- Support managers in driving process efficiency and implementing best practices.
- Manage crisis situations through proper escalation and motivate the team.
- Develop and exercise business plans and internal procedures.
- Lead projects, offer innovative solutions, and identify cost efficiency opportunities.
- Ensure integrity of processes, operations, and associated results.
- Support a wide range of stakeholders, including Product, Sales, Client Service, Partner Site, and Tech Support.
- Build effective relationships with management and internal stakeholders, influencing them where necessary.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Trade products, processes, and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to know when a deep dive approach is appropriate.
- Ability to drive results through a hands-on approach.
- Skilled in identifying talent, recruiting, coaching, mentoring, managing, and developing team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and prioritize work effectively.
- Understanding of operational risks, related controls, audit, and internal control framework.
- Confidence to challenge and be challenged while maintaining a positive outlook.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- CDCS/CSDG/CITF certification preferred.
