GENERAL PURPOSE:
- Implement all marketing activities within Retail.
- Ensure the correct application of merchandising and sales approach towards potential consumers to increase the sale of brand products.
- Influence (using training and relationship skills) store sales representatives to prefer the brand as the first recommendation for the store customer.
- Also responsible for collecting basic information by using predefined surveys/forms to feed a competitor database.
- Act within the retail trade or a group of retailers (full time, part time), according to the Retail Classification.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactive sales approach towards potential consumers.
- Negotiate hot spots within retail, POP material placement and maintenance, including seasonal occasions where we will assign seasonal sales reps to up-sell products.
- Support the retail sales force in product awareness by providing basic product demonstrations and answering basic questions about key product features.
- Establish a strong and trusting relationship with retailers, store personnel and distributors.
- Responsible for stock control in the stores served to provide the correct availability of our products.
- Gather basic retail market information using predefined surveys and other forms.
- Inform the activities of the competition and the development of sales to the brand through a predefined report.
- Identify consumer needs and other opportunities for the brand (eg training).
INDIVIDUAL PORTFOLIO / PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:
- High School Required
- Ongoing Technical or Professional Studies
- 1-2 years sales/selling experience in a retail environment;
- Negotiation / Independent work / Interpersonal communication / Operational analysis
