Supply Chain Coordinator
Department: Upstream
Reports to: Supply Chain Lead
Purpose
Follow up and logistic support to the assigned accounts assigned to the coordinator. Monitoring and registering all supply chain related movements and documents from the supplier up to the final consignee or as per customer requirements, agreed SOP in the Schad SCC report or customer-assigned report. Working together with all parties in origin(s) and destination(s) to assure fast processing.
Functions
• Supervise the time of unloading and return of the containers in the warehouse.
• Request checks for tax payments and suppliers.
• Prepare monthly statistics of the services offered.
• Send, receive, and follow up on the documentation made by Brokers.
• Receive and follow up on the pre-alerts in different origins.
• Coordinate the transport of containers to different stations.
• Prepare letters, applications and permits required by customs
• Follow up with the customs brokers and clerks on the customs clearance process.
• Report eventualities in the agreed times for operations.
• Advise and recommend improvement opportunities in the internal processes of the account.
• Maintain close communication with the customs agency and state agencies.
• Generate and update the operational report.
• Provide internal customer service for the assigned account.
• Continuously monitor everything concerning the operations of the account.
• Responsible for creation of Job orders and data entry in Ops log/cargo wise
• Detect and report non-conformities to create improvement opportunities in your area.
Requirements
Academic Level Industrial Engineering, International Business or related
careers
Experience Between 1 and 2 years in similar positions
Knowledge of the logistics business and maritime cargo and customs. Ability to prepare reports and / or metrics
Availability of extended hours
