Job Summary
As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst within Derivative Operations, you ensure accurate and timely settlement of complex trades. You will manage relationships with clients, Middle Offices, and Front Offices, supporting a diverse global portfolio. Your role is critical in maintaining operational controls and delivering best-in-class service across multiple product areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute settlement of OTC derivative payments with precision
- Communicate status updates and escalate issues promptly
- Implement small projects with clear direction
- Respond professionally to client and internal queries
- Listen actively to client needs and prioritize effectively
- Take initiative to resolve issues independently
- Participate in firm-wide strategic initiatives
- Identify and drive process improvements
- Confirm derivative trade details verbally
- Utilize technical infrastructure for daily operations
- Build relationships across functions and teams
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, macros)
- Exhibit excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Manage high complexity and shifting priorities with ease
- Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Show willingness to work all shifts as required
- Display strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Possess experience or working knowledge of derivative products
- Apply ISDA and derivatives product knowledge effectively
- Write basic macros to streamline processes
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams
