Trade Finance Analyst (f/m/x)

in Mars Global Services

Finance Department

Location: Warsaw

Hybrid working

Trade Finance Expert/ Analyst plays key role in managing Trade Expenditures (TREX), especially calculation of TREX accruals as well as reconciling related Balance Sheet accounts in BlackLine. In this role, you will work closely with Business Units to support period-end finance adjustments and act as a Key User in the implementation and maintenance of the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system. You’ll ensure proper governance and control over trade payments, while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) across the entire cluster.

What would be your key responsibilities

  • Booking finance adjustments in close cooperation with Business Partners.

  • Verifying accruals between Atlas and CAS during period close.

  • Reconciling selected Balance Sheet Accounts in BlackLine.

  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of the TPM system as a Key User.

  • Verifying trade payments and invoices.

  • Setting up invoice list conditions in Atlas.

  • Handling and resolving rebate audit queries from retailers (in cooperation with KAMs).

  • Partnering with sales and finance teams on query resolution and deductions management.

  • Ensuring timely approval of all financial documents.

  • Performing reconciliations between financial systems.

  • Operating effectively in a multilingual, international environment.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics/business administration.

  • 6+ years of professional experience in accounting & finance.

  • Experience in Order to Cash / TREX processes, especially related to customer rebates, sales support, or order management, is a plus.

  • Confidence in interacting with senior finance leadership.

  • Strong ability to work independently and take ownership.

  • Experience in handling internal and external audit requests.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Full working proficiency in English.
