As our next CRM Specialist within our Trade team, you’ll play a key role in turning free trades into loyal, long-term members. You’ll take ownership of the campaigns and journeys that drive real behaviour change - and you’ll have the chance to shape, evolve and elevate how CRM works at Checkatrade.

You’ll work hands-on across our channels (email, SMS, push, in-app), building, QA’ing and launching campaigns that land at the right time and in the right way. And don’t worry if you haven’t used Braze before - if you’ve worked with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Customer.io or similar, we’ll give you all the training you need. There’s huge room to grow here: automation, journey design, experimentation, segmentation, data - it’s all on the table.

This is a role for someone who wants ownership, momentum and the chance to transform an area of the business that’s evolving fast.

Forget long lists, here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:

  • Owning CRM campaigns end to end. You’ll build, QA and launch campaigns across multiple channels, making sure trades get the right message at the right moment.

  • Creating and improving automated flows. You’ll work with the CRM Lead and Ops Manager to design and optimise journeys that convert trades into committed members.

  • Spotting issues before they hit customers. You’ll bring an eye for detail, fixing problems quickly and making sure everything that leaves the door feels polished and professional.

  • Shaping how we do CRM. As we expand our tools and capabilities, you’ll help define best practice, evolve our processes and influence how CRM grows at Checkatrade.

  • Learning and levelling up. If Braze is new to you, great - we’ll train you. You’ll get hands-on with automation, segmentation, testing and data insight from day one.

It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You’ll do well here if you bring:

  • Experience using any CRM or marketing automation tool. Braze experience is a bonus - but Salesforce, HubSpot, Adobe, Customer.io or similar is absolutely fine.

  • A proactive, collaborative approach. You enjoy working closely with your team, sharing ideas and helping uncover opportunities to improve.

  • Strong attention to detail. You take pride in clean builds, error-free campaigns and a polished customer experience.

  • A hunger to grow your CRM toolkit. Whether it’s automation, data, journey design or experimentation - you’re excited to learn and expand your skillset.

  • A sense of ownership. You don’t just press send. You care about the outcome, the impact and the craft.
