A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Trade Compliance Specialist at Atotech, analyzing product information to determine HS codes for chemical goods to 40 sales markets multiple regions (ASIA, EMEA and AMAS). In this role, you will report to the Manager, Trade Compliance.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Determination of applicable ECCN/ECN numbers in accordance with multiple sales.
- Monitoring and preparing reports of any changes to local rules and regulations which may impact Trade Compliance field.
- Support and training in local logistics, supply chain and sales organizations.
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of existing import / export processes globally.
- Implementation and use of trade compliance IT systems (AEB).
Skills You Bring:
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in a global trade environment with import and export activities for a multinational company.
- A background in International Trade Compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with chemical knowledge.
- Good technical and chemical understanding.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High conscientiousness and care.
- Affinity and understanding for digital and operational processes.
- Strong analytical skills, goal orientation, structured approach and ability to reduce complexity.
- Willingness to travel on business occasionally, locally and abroad.
