We are looking for a Trade Compliance Manager to help ensure our import and export operations meet U.S. and international regulatory requirements while supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and a strong culture of compliance.
This is an opportunity for an experienced trade compliance professional to play a key role in managing import and export compliance activities, advising stakeholders across the business, and strengthening processes that support a global supply chain.
What you will do:
• Lead and support trade compliance activities across U.S. import operations and broader international import/export transactions.• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on customs, import, export, classification, country of origin, free trade agreement, and related trade compliance matters.• Manage and maintain product classifications, including Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) determinations.• Partner with suppliers, brokers, logistics providers, and internal teams to help ensure accurate and compliant cross-border transactions.• Monitor imports, identify shipment or customs-related issues, and drive timely resolution to minimize delays and business disruption.• Conduct audits and reviews of import and export documentation, entries, and supporting records to identify discrepancies, reduce risk, and improve controls.• Support broker management activities, including entry review, audit coordination, and ongoing operational alignment.• Help develop, implement, and improve trade compliance processes, work instructions, and internal controls.• Provide subject matter expertise and training to teams across legal, finance, supply chain, logistics, operations, procurement, and product development.• Perform tariff, trade remedy, and free trade agreement analysis, including rules of origin and related certification support.• Support Importer Security Filing and other U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements, as applicable.• Assist with CTPAT and other security or compliance program activities, including documentation and process support.• Maintain required compliance records, customs-related documentation, and applicable customs bonds.• Prepare reports, summaries, and recommendations for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.• Assess trade-related risks and escalate key issues with clear recommendations.• Support special projects and other compliance-related responsibilities as needed.
The skills you bring
• Bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.• 5+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, import/export operations, or a related field.• Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations, customs procedures, and global trade compliance requirements.• Hands-on experience with HTS classification and a solid understanding of ECCN classification and export control requirements.• Knowledge of free trade agreements and rules of origin, with particular familiarity in USMCA preferred.• Experience managing import operations across air, ocean, and ground transportation.• Ability to interpret regulations, assess risk, and translate requirements into practical business guidance.• Experience conducting audits, reviewing records, and strengthening compliance controls.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-through skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.• Advanced Excel skills and strong overall Microsoft Office proficiency.• Experience working with ERP and trade systems such as SAP, SAP GTS, or similar platforms is preferred.• Experience with process automation, Power BI, or Power Automate is a plus.• Valid U.S. Customs Broker License, or the ability to obtain one, is preferred.• Experience in high-tech, telecom, electronics, or similarly regulated industries is preferred.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
