We are seeking a knowledgeable self-starting Trade Compliance Coordinator to join the Business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Trade Compliance Officer collaborating with departments across the business to provide support on all import and export control related operational activities. You will also be expected to work independently, demonstrating a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generation of customs clearance instructions for import and export consignments.
- Undertake screenings of customers for export control and sanction due diligence.
- Use relevant government systems to submit export license applications.
- Work independently to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in import and export.
- Working knowledge of the UK customs Tariff and rules of origin.
- Awareness of UK (EU/US) sanctions and export controls.
- Experience of using an ERP system would be advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
