Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Trade Category Specialist, Greece who will join our In Home business to guarantee the perfect in-store amplification of JDE brands & enable sales and marketing targets, by using the right promotion and category management initiatives.
Reporting to Shopper Marketing Lead Greece, you will be based in Athens and responsible to undertake tasks such as:
• Developing and implementing BTL promo activation within the retail business, serving company’s promotion strategy & priorities; full control of relevant budget
• Contributing in designing, optimizing and evaluating the yearly promo strategy & plan for JDE brands within the Greek retail business, according to brand/channel strategies
• Providing local customer performance analysis & post-evaluation findings of promotional activities to propose corrective actions & safeguard promo results
• Maintain ongoing communication with Sales department, getting thorough understanding of commercial activities and customer specific characteristics concerning promotion effectiveness & deployment
• Contributing to the customer/category growth based on analyzing and defining the right assortment and the right shelf presence recommendation custom
• Managing the collection, processing and analysis of market data for all categories, to generate and distribute relevant reports & insights; detailing market shares by category, brand, manufacturer etc.

For this role as a Trade Category Specialist, Greece , we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
• A Bachelor Degree in Business; an MBA or Master will be considered an asset
• 3-4 years’ experience preferably in Commercial/Retail business
• Excellent communication skills with a market-oriented approach and team-player spirit
• Numerical & Analytical skills
• Ability to identify and act upon business opportunities
• Excellent command both of English and Greek
• Proficiency in using MS Office and especially Excel
• Learning on the fly in a fast-paced business environment
