Toyota Sunnyvale is hiring a Sales Consultant to join our team.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, follows a process, and is willing to put in the daily effort it takes to be successful in automotive sales.
This is not just a “sit and wait” sales position. Success comes from follow-up, communication, product knowledge, customer service, and consistently using our A-to-Z sales process.

Our team follows a structured A-to-Z sales process, so customers receive a consistent, professional experience from the first conversation through vehicle delivery. Training and coaching are provided, but we are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and open to learning.
CompensationExpected earnings: $50,000-$300,000 annually
Actual earnings vary based on individual performance.

- Candidate must be able to generate appointments and 12-15 sales per month through floor traffic, email, phone calls, text messages, referrals, etc.
- Assist incoming clients and incoming phone calls.
- Be available to respond to clients via email, phone, and text in a professional, well-spoken manner.
- Quotes pricing, rates, and automobile availability to clients.
- Understands and implements the dealership sales process (training provided).
- Learn product knowledge on the current model line and become a certified product representative.
- Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Build strong rapport with customers.
- Perform high-quality, professional, knowledgeable presentations and demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
- Maintain customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Requirements
- 1+ years of previous sales experience preferred.
- Automotive sales experience preferred.
- Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- The willingness to continually follow up with clients.
- Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
- Weekends are required
