Summary
The Embark Internship Program contributes to the spiritual, personal, and professional development of the student. As a Total Rewards Embark Intern, the student will gain hands-on experience in the various functions of the Total Rewards department while serving the Ministry of Answers in Genesis. This position provides opportunities to learn about benefits, payroll, and reward programs, and other areas of the Total Rewards team.
This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.
Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
- Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
- Participate in life skills development courses provided for Embark Interns
- Assist with benefits, 401K, leaves of absences, payroll reporting and audits, reward program research and analysis.
- Contribute to other Total Rewards research initiatives and projects.
- Research and participate in compensation surveys as well as research market data for jobs.
- Help with several 401K audits and projects.
- Collaborate with the Volunteer Team to serve at volunteer opportunities and events at the Ark Encounter.
- And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements

- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church
Education & Experience
- Must have a minimum of 45 College Credits
- Must be currently pursuing a degree

Answers in Genesis is an apologetics ministry dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. The organization also operates attractions such as the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter.
