Job Description
As a Toolshop and Automation Specialist, you will join a team with access to the latest technologies and opportunities to develop your technical skills. Our department's resources include 3D scanning and 3D printing capabilities, dedicated training stations for control systems and robotics, and full access to relevant software. We provide access to e-learning platforms and supporting software (Eplan, Inventor, AutoCAD, and others). We provide a training package. You will report to the Maintenance Team Supervisor. You will be located in Katowice. The team comprises 13 members.
Your Responsibilities:- Ensuring the continuity of machine and production line operation
- Creating technological documentation for implemented solutions
- Designing production process equipment
- Monitoring the technical condition of machines and devices
- Preparing technical documentation (operating manuals, control system diagrams, design, assembly, manufacturing drawings)\
- Implementing solutions for the construction of designed components
- Manufacturing mechanical components and welding processes (CNC, 3D printing, measuring devices)
- Proposing methods for modernization, overhaul, or repair of machine and device control systems
- Representing the department at technical meetings regarding production process elements
- Designing machine and device components in CAD/CAE software
- Conducting preventive measures to prevent failures and optimize machine operation
- Updating technical documentation
- Proposing methods for modernization, overhaul, or repair of machine and device control systems + implementation and supervision
- Optimizing maintenance costs
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and analyzing machine failures
- Performing preventive machine inspections
- Selection/preparation of data required for ordering spare parts
- Experience in a similar position 2 or more years of experience
- Technical education, preferred fields: mechanics, electromechanics, automation
- Practical technical knowledge in mechanics, electrical engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control systems
- Practical knowledge of ladder logic programming (other languages will be an additional asset)
- Practical knowledge of configuring vision systems
- Practical knowledge of operating and programming industrial robots
- Practical knowledge of automation and electropneumatics on production lines
- Read technical drawings and electrical diagrams
- No contraindications to working at heights
- Certification for operating mobile work platforms
- SEP certification
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
