1. Preparing the tools and fixtures needed to perform machining on CNC machines, such as milling cutters, drills, measuring instruments, tool holders, etc.
2. Measuring tools so that characteristics measured on CNC machines can be used.
3. Maintain documentation related to the tool setting process, such as trial machining reports, tool files, etc.
4. oversee tool reconditioning
5. tool availability management in SAP system
6. purchase of tools as required
7. Tooling security for newly purchased machines
8. Ensuring health and safety in the operation of CNC machines and compliance with health and safety requirements.
9. Collaborate with other production staff and technologists to determine the best ways to set tools and parameters for CNC machines.
10. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area and ensuring proper operation and maintenance of CNC tools and machines.
